Empowerment Session & Shower Boudoir
Why boudoir? What was your WHY?
I chose boudoir as a way to step out of my comfort zone and express myself differently than how I was raised. I love my body and I want to help others do the same.
How did you discover Intimates by Sierra?
Back in 2020, I saw an ad for her business on Facebook and I reached out. Ever since then, she has been my go-to for any and all professional photos.
How did you feel before your session?
Very confident and relaxed. She talks you through every movement and pose and helps create the best looks possible.
How would you describe your boudoir experience to someone who's never done one before?
STRETCH BEFORE NO MATTER WHAT!!! We are always joking that a boudoir is a workout when in reality it is. Sierra does a fantastic job of hyping you up and helping you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. During our first one, I was very nervous but she cranked the tunes and in minutes we were joking and laughing like old friends.
How did you feel after your session?
Empowered as he** and slightly sore, but again stretch beforehand. It'll help.
How did seeing your images make you feel?
Like a sexy bad-a**
Would you recommend boudoir to other women?
Hands down a million times yes!! Every woman should do at least one boudoir shoot in their lifetime. You will not regret it!
What was your favorite part?
The comfort, she's very patient and walks you through everything.
What was the hardest part?
Posing for long periods. You are in weird positions and arching your back for a minute at a time. Fully accepting that even though I'm not the size 0 i used to be I'm still hot sh*t and a baddie by blood.
Did you step out of your comfort zone?
With our first shoot I 100% did but this one was just like a regular walk in the park.
What would you do differently next time?
STRETCH I cannot stress this enough. Thought I was in decent shape til I got home and had to lie down with a heating pad to relax my back muscles. Also not have a fresh tattoo prior to a shower session.
Do you have any regrets?
NOT A SINGLE ONE
Any advice for other women considering booking a boudoir session?
Do it and love every second. She goes out of her way to make you feel confident and she will create images that will blow your mind. It will feel a bit awkward at first but by the second pose you will be a baddie with a body to die for.
