Miley's Mission

is an end-of-life portraiture program for SE MN. The fees are pay-what-you-can so everyone has access to wall-worthy portraits of their beloved pet. I have photographed dogs, cats, goats, guinea pigs, horses, & am open to anything in between.

End of Life Pet Portraiture

Is your pet nearing the end of their life? My heart goes out to you <3 My EOL package is taken care of on a pay-what-you-can basis so every family can have wall-worthy portraits of their beloved pet before they pass. Memorialize your pet with Sierra Kurth Photography; I'll fit you into my schedule as early as I can, and do my very best to race time. We can take photos of just your pet, family portraits with your pet, or both. Don't wait until your pet is uncomfortable, if you can help it. Unfortunately, there have been inquiries where I couldnt get there the same day, or the pet passed while I was on my way. If you're unsure if the time is right, reach out and we can weigh the situation. If you're wanting coverage during your pets scheduled passing, give me as much heads-up as possible and I'll do my best to make it happen. Give your pet an extra hug today! xx Sierra

About your photographer...

I'm a 20-something mama of two, I've worked five years in childcare, a year at a dog grooming salon, and have been a photographer for people and pets since 2016. I have owned a reactive dog---an incredible german shepherd she was, and currently only have a 10yo husky and recentlu lost our chow chow (RIP 2025). I was raised with heelers, aussies, and labradors, and have worked with hundreds of dogs and all the dog breeds/personalities between bathing and photographing. I like to read, go thrifting, and hang with my kids (both under 3y).

These sessions are handled on a pay-what-you-can basis, made with two payments. One payment (minimum of $50) is due today as a retainer to reserve your date & time. The second payment is due the day before your session. Most clients pay between $100-$300 total, but more or less is accepted, just pay whatever you feel this service is worth to you, or whatever your budget allows. (The $50 minimum retainer covers the babysitter for my daughters and my mileage to a nearby session. Whatever is paid beyond that covers my time at the session & time editing the photos, my talent/experience, and makes it possible to keep offering this service to those with less to offer).

Lunging, barking, growling, etc. And either people or dogs, or both. Any bite history? Attempts?

If your dog is reactive, Sierra has large lenses, and she can try to keep a distance.
