RANDOM FACTS
I have a husky who is allllll sass and my first fluffy baby, my whole heart until my heart grew for my hubby and my baby girls. I have had many cats in my life and after losing my dearest Miley, I have become strictly a dog mama. Litter boxes simply aren't my thing. I have two daughters- crazy- I wasn't going to have any and adopt (that's another story), but here I am, living and loving with my beautiful baby girls that grew in my womb. I'm a mama who loves the tiny details, the device-free family time, and the one who never stops taking photos of everyone and everything.
MY BODY
I used to hate on my body just like so many women do. My body was this THING that needed to look better, move more, and appear perfect. Since growing two humans, I have come to appreciate all that my body can and has done and I'm here to help others love and appreciate their bodies as well. I am all about documenting our bodies as they grow and glow and change and stretch and mold and fold and become what we need them to be. Our bodies are a vessel that heal and house us and we should always appreciate them for what they do more than what they may look like. My body has been through it- SH, pregnancy, postpartum, diets, photoshop, accidents and hospital stays- you name it. But I have gotten through it, thanks to my vessel and I am forever thankful for that. Here's to my body carrying me through motherhood, being a wifey, and all my future adventures!
THINGS I LOVE
Food. italian. mexican. american. mongolian. you name it. Huhot is my hubby's and I's love language. Our hometown is full of family-owned mexican restaurants. Our surrounding small-towns are full of bars that serve american where our locals gather and do pull-tabs (eyeroll). And when in doubt, you can find us at Olive Garden eating all-you-can-eat breadsticks and dumpling soup!
Sangrias. MMMMM, sangrias. Ya girl's weakness.
Arizona and all things warm-dry weather. I was born in AZ and love love love visiting. Sedona has my heart and I will retire there one day.
Summertime. Fall, Winter, and Spring are too cold for this lady. I love the heat, I love the sun, and I love lounging in the shade on an 80* day with a gentle breeze moving the trees. Anything below sunny and 75* is NOT for me!
BEGINNING
I have been taking photos and editing photos since before I can remember. Shortly after high school graduation, I had a friend ask me to take some artsy photos of her. SO much fun. I snagged a camera from my mom and started offering CHEAP sessions to locals. I wasn't great at the start. But I learned, I grew, I got super busy and had to raise my prices once I was making actual money. I created my first website, Facebook photography page, and now I have more sessions in my books than I could count, more client-turned friends than I ever expected, and I have a booming boudoir business that has brought me and so many women joy and confidence and empowerment and I will never ever ever go back, I love it, I enjoy it, and it allows me to support my family and raise my littles while being a SAHM.
Forever grateful!
